The aim of this regulated qualification is to provide individuals with knowledge of the basic food safety practices that are essential in the food industry. This includes the hazards and risks to food safety presented by food operations and personnel, together with cost-effective, practical control measures.
It is a requirement of the Health & Safety law that employers provide a safe and healthy environment to work in. If your assessment of first aid needs highlights the need for qualified first aiders, then this level 3 qualification will provide you with suitable, highly trained personnel. This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course. This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
You can also use this course to requalify if your qualification has expired (more than three years old).
From food business owners to trainers, from production managers to hygiene auditors, this qualification meets the food industry’s need for a high level practical qualification with external accreditation.
‘I studied for a CIEH level 4 on a day a week basis
with Blue Cloud, I found the course very motivational
and despite not undertaking an exam for 25 years
Penny made the process fun. Penny’s style was relaxed,
and allowed a real freedom of debate in order to fully
grasp the key points. I would recommend this provider.’
